If he was gone tomorrow I would not miss him. I do not find a troubled young brat having sulk-fests and/or hissyfits especially interesting and other than that I get little from him.

Yes, he has been a part of this series and is a BB11er and he has his part in the season,
but,
I can seriously tell you that JJ-Josie may be one of THE most over-rated stories of the Summer.
Its fair enough to be called one of the little sub-plots. Not more.

It boggles the mind JJ is one of the highest-rated most popular HM's and I just suppose that means teen girls still rule the voting on this thing.

I do think it's been one of the more interesting "showmances" due to John James holding back and frankly struggling with it. It's just been pushed in our faces too much when it didn't need to be, and people like Rachel trivilising it doesn't help either, whilst Josie is milking it for all it's worth.


As much as it annoys at time though there isn't a lot else going on. The bromance between Dave and Ben is just as tiresome, the Baron needs to leave so his grip on the house is removed completely while the three newbies are pretty bland really. Andrew is probably the only other HM I'd consider entertaining and watchable - but he's much more in control than John James is.


One thing is for sure though - if John James does win he won't be sticking around for Ultimate Champion. He has no reason too, and will want to be out of the house ASAP.

I think he's been a vital part of the house this year, he's this year's Marcus/Rex/Charley to an extent. Strongly disliked by a fair few people but is ultimately needed.

I think though Marcus, Rex and Charley were more "characters" - John James and indeed most of this years HMs are all a lot more human if you know what I mean.
