Speaking as a middle aged woman who doesn't find John James remotely attractive (too skinny, too blonde, give me Nikki Sixx any day) I'd like to say that Josie has a smile that can light up a room but I agree totally with Wombai, it's her personality that makes her unattractive. Not to mention the fact she lives in a duvet and probably stinks of cigarettes (and John James doesn't even smoke himself) and bed sweat.

I can *kind* of see that she might be more his type than say someone like Rachael, (don't those surfer types generally hang out with surfer girls who are a bit more tomboyish than just beach candy?) but I don't believe he's attracted to her and the look on his face when she launched into an attack on Sam in the bedroom said it all, he thinks she's unhinged and is probably terrified of her.

Funny how guys get grief from women for what is actually an absolutely ideal weight and totally natural. And is far better for doing real manual work and not playing with weight s in the gym. That is the shape all manual workers such as builders and miners used to be, before women started demanding men kill themselves with bulk. Probably 38/30/36 and around 10 stone 7..

If you want men to be large and have artificial muscle they will wind up dead before 70 with a heart attack. Your ideal is far more threatening to men's health than the supposed ideal woman's body which can lead to osteoporosis, which is actually also a pressure created by women on women in the fashion industry.

All the poster said was that John James was too skinny for her. We hear the same kind of thing from men all the time, especially on here... and sometimes in very derogatory terms. And if now, after all these years, blokes are succumbing to the pressure of feeling they have to conform to an ideal, if they feel that their bodies are scrutinised and commented upon and everything they are is all about how they look... welcome to our world.

Personally I find John James too skinny too. I like a little meat on the bone.

That isn't my ideal either, was just pointing out that he isn't necessarily my type before typing the rest of the post since many of the JJ/Josie lovers seem to think that pulling the 'you're jealous because you fancy John James' get out of jail free card is enough to nullify any valid criticism made of them.

There is absolutely NO WAY that Josie is a size 16 (in her dreams). She actually seems to have put on a lot of weight in the house, not helped by being almost permanently horizontal. I would say she is at least a size 20 now, (certainly her lower half). And this is a dispassionate observation but I'm so sick of people saying she is of average size when we have the evidence on our screens that she is definitely above average in size.
