For me - it isn't so much what she said - but the contradiction!

From the start she seems to have been trying to portray herself as an innocent, country girl who sucks her thumb and just happens to have fallen head over heels with the good-looking Aussie and wants people to think it is all so sweet and romantic - then she comes out with crude comments like that!

Actually I don't agree with that! I think consistency in dishing out infractions is important for them to work!

I have witnessed cases, in the same thread - same day, same mod - where one member has been insulting and been banned and another has insulted someone with the C word and he wasn't! Am sure I am not the only one that thinks the system is often very unfair!

Wombai...I wasnt arguing about consistency. I already know this.

What I was saying is he has no right to be questioning other members about if they got an infraction or not.

As for the person getting banned, chances are they only got an infraction, which knocked them into a ban...some people have more points than others, so they end up banned when the other member doesnt.

I dont particularly like the new 'infraction' system myself, much preferred the old 3 strikes and your out system, but I'm afraid we have to put up with it.

but you don't know whether or not each person has been given an infraction or not is the point. Person A may have been given the same amount of infraction points as person B but person A might have already had some points and the extra points could have caused the ban.

Maybe - but I do know that the one that didn't get banned had a long history of verbal abuse towards other members and indeed already had a string of infractions and previous bans - it was common knowledge!

So seemed rather odd to say the least! He was also quite a popular member with some!

In all honesty, I agree.

I said above that I much preferred the older system. Stopped people breaking as many rules too. As you were permabanned after your third rulebreak.

But we have to make the best of what we are given, and Im sick to death of hearing about &%*%^ getting an infraction so *&%$&* should too and all that stuff. When noone knows who actually has got what.
