The issue is about a man incapable of controlling himself for a few minutes on live TV.
All of which means he will not get asked back as much. So it's a shot in the foot really. Still impressed, JJ fans? |

Most people including myself have no interest in seeing the ex housemates on tv after they leave the house.

All a question of standards. And choice.
I choose not to swear in front of kids, mine or otherwise, my kids return the respect by not swearing in front of me, and they are now 26 and 28. I do choose to watch BB, swearing included, it is all part of observing how the other half live. I do not however expect such language before the watershed. The rules are there for a reason. As to JJames swearing, I am sure he did not go out of his way to swear, it just rolls off the end of his tongue without a thought. As I say, down to standards. We are all different, all have different standards and what is right for one might not be right for another. It would not do for us all to be the same. ![]() |

I love how people are going on as if this is the worst possible thing that could ever happen.
Also as if JJ is the first person to ever swear on daytime TV ![]() And I dont understand why they didn't beep it...its not actually live, theres at least a 5 minute delay |

And then what did John say? Did he laugh and apologise or what?

Funny how noone appeared to care when emma swore (by mistake also)..however, because JJ(son of the devil it appears) does it, its the crime of the century. Last edited by Vicky.; 22-08-2010 at 05:51 PM. |

Just goes to show how easily some people do swear - on TV or not.
On a slightly different tack my hubby was camping last week and he could hear people swearing (and shouting) in the tent next to him and that was WITH young children with them and young childen nearby. Just goes to show how thoughtless people can be. Some never seem to put their brain into gear before they speak. |

I don't get how anyone can unintentionally swear. I can honest to god say I have never unknowingly sworn.

I dunno, I swore ever since I can remember, lived in quite a rough area when i was growing up where it was normal. Its just kind of my everyday vocab now..I can...not swear, but its actually quite hard to remember not to do it :S

It's not a matter of vocabulary, it's just self control.

I wonder how many times did Corin say buzzing in the house compared to how many times skippy said the f word. His language was appalling so I wasnt at all surprised that he said it on BBLB.

Like a 14yr old trying to look the big badass. Sometimes literally every other word in his sentences was the F word. Just cringey to listen to. |
