I am not saying heterophobic comments are being made. Just like transphobic hatred cant be ruled out, but if staff decide to punish forum members for simply putting up that they hate Nadia for example without some form of qualifier for that dislike, then surely the same rule should be applied right across the forum over comments about any housemates both present and past.

Yeah I have to agree. Political correctness has gone WAY to far in this country nowadays. And I do think certain people on here are too snobby to know what banter is.

The way I see it is: you only live once so why be all serious about it?

But whoever said don't get serious because you only live once, but you have to be selective, because an excessive use of banter can really offend and we should just focus on hating people because their wankers not because they're black, white, gay, straight, fat or thin

but if you hate someone you will pick at everything about them which includes colour, sexuality or whatever, just pure and simply because you hate them.

So in my eyes, all hate threads should be banned.

I hate Nadia because she's an over-reacting drama queen and I'll call her out on that because that's something she can address and attempt to resolve, but I wouldn't insult her because she was a woman trapped in a man's body, she can't help that and it's no fault of her own.

Parmnion, I am confused by what your point is?... but if I am reading it right I strongly disagree. There is a difference between hating someone because they act like an idiot and hating someone for a reason that they can't change or do anything about.

I agree with the OP 100% about the stupid "Soandso was evicted because he is black/gay etc.." but I don't think a lot of the people in this thread really get the point he was trying to make, and likely haven't read it properly.

my point was that if you HATE someone you will pull no punches when slagging them off.So all hate threads should be banned.
