It's quite ironic, I know it's a feeble source, but my mother of all people (you know what they're like for gossiping!) has heard a rumour that Ruth was married, but since the show has, to be discrete, swung the other way! I wonder which one she is....... I wonder.......
Oh, really? She is quite a butch lady actually.

I think the Badger should win, and she will. SAS seemed to make Michelle favourite last week but I think when it comes to offering the job Ruth will get it. Also Nick and Margaret prefer Ruth I think.

There's a version of the US Apprentice starting on Discovery Home and Health channel tonight at 10:30pm if anyone's interested. Not the Trump version, another one.
Yes, I think Margaret and Nick really favour Ruth. But she is a really strong personality and very determined.

Congratulations to Michelle! A very worthy winner!

To clarify, just found a news article that includes details of the aforementioned. Apologies, as I appear to have gotten a few of the details wrong!

Article Here

Beware: the article is clearly biased, so the reliability could be dubious!

I thought that whilst Ruth's team were the better organised and obviously the winning team in terms of profit the actual the event they put on was a bit silly for me and I much preferred Michelle's evening and I think that may have been the deciding factor for Sir Alan as well. I do however think that Ruth was the better candidate overall as she's been really good and no nonscene throughout the series.

I was a bit surprised at the result but with Michelle winning, and Tim winning last year, I think there is a pattern emerging: Sir Alan wants someone he can mould.

Yeah, it seems that way.

Well, he did say Michelle was the best suited for the project(s) he had planned for whoever won.

SUGAR AND SPITE

Apprentice winner Michelle savages rivals

by PETER DYKE

THE Apprentice winner Michelle Dewberry quickly turned into a telly bitch – laying into her rivals hours after being crowned champ.

The former checkout girl claimed that just like Sir Alan Sugar she would fire all the other contestants because they were hopeless.

In a scathing attack yesterday motormouth Michelle, 26, bitched: “The show’s over and I don’t miss any of them. They don’t like me and I don’t like them – that’s the way it is.”

A record 6.6million viewers tuned in on Wednesday night to see Michelle pip Ruth “The Badge” Badger in the final to land a £100,000- a-year job with tycoon Sir Alan, 59.

But just 24 hours later the normally mousey Michelle, from Hull, laid into her former rivals – including her “best mate” and fellow finalist Ruth – in a sensational outburst.

She said: “I won because, unlike some people, you don’t need to shout about how good you are and keep telling people how great you are.

Idiot

“I won by being need to be cocky.”

Michelle said 31-year-old hunk Syed Ahmed, who she flirted with, was “so arrogant”. And headhunter Paul myself. You don’t Tulip, 26, who had a big viewer following during the series, also got a hammering as she snapped: “He’s just a big fat idiot.”

Financial adviser Tuan Lee, 27, came in for a battering when she branded him “a slaphead”.

But Michelle cruellest put-down Karen Bremner, 34.

She stormed: “I hated cold-hearted bitch.”

And even multi-millionaire tycoon

Sir Alan wasn’t spared a tonguelashing from Michelle, who was still out celebrating her big win yesterday.

She said of her new boss: “He’s Mr Grumpy.”

Telecoms consultant Michelle’s victory gave the Bafta-winning show its biggest-ever viewing figures – almost doubling last year’s audience.

I would have to say that the right person won in the end.
