well thats what im asking are they even releasing a new one in september?

wouldn't it have been announced by now?

One will probably be revealed in September as Apple's products are refreshed in a very cyclical nature, the iPod line up is generally refreshed in Autumn so I guess you could expect a new iPod then.

However that isn't to say that Apple will definitely bring out new iPods then. They're unpredictable so just think of it as a guestimate. This page is very helpful as it keeps track on when a new Apple product is expected, and if they've just been updated etc.

I want to be given an exact date for lion already. 'July' is too broad, I keep checking the website everyday and nothing.

Omfg ikr? The whole OS is essentially finished but rumour has it that they are waiting to coincide the release with refreshed MacBook and MacBook Air models. We'll see I guess.

Exclamation Mac OS X Lion to launch later today

In other words, it'll appear on the store later on today. I'm guessing we'll see it turn up around 6pm.

Well its their fault for downloading pre release copies then. I would never do that.

It sucks having to wait until all the Americans are awake for us to get it. That and Apple haven't even given a specific time.
