She didn't need to stick up for herself, she wasn't under attack... !!!

She was being given an honest opinion, from a person who has had the experience in the music industry (as well as various other forms of the entertainment industry).

Cher needs to learn to accept negative feedback. She needs to learn how to gracefully accept when she's told which type of songs suit her voice, and which don't. She isn't the 'great all rounder' - that's the Cowell/Cole PR spin on it.

She needs to consider if there is justification in it - if she can sit back, watch her performances and think she's wonderful, she's not right in the head.

LOL,I know what you mean,she certainly thinks she is the winner.she has just said on the Xtrafactor that she doesn't like doing ballards she is a hip hop ARTISTE,lol,shes won in her own mind anyway!

I did say she sang the 2nd song really good,apart from the rapping bit.
However I know a lot of people who vote on X Factor who hang on every word in the VTs.

She needs to tone down the attitude because its really what has likely put her in the bottom 2 a couple of weeks ago and its also likely she may well have been close to the bottom 2 a lot in previous weeks.
I try to ignore much of the VTs,but noticed tonight she came over as very negative,that's not good really.

cher seriously needs to get her attitude in check .....for someone with LIMITED talent she is only gettting through this competition based on her "looks" and chav appeal. to have an arrgoant attitude like she does it wont take long before people just do not want to work with her. people may argue why is dannii on the panel but she is so people have to deal with that she is a judge and to give a response like that just shows what an arrogant little chav cher is and that she is not willing to listen to any constructive criticism from a person who yes fine has an average voice but who has had many years experience in the music business and who has grown to understand what kinda of music suits peoples voices. cher needs to grow up and needs to grow up fast if she wants a career in the music business

I think people are taking Cher the wrong way. Every little thing she does comes under scrutiny by a large majority of people and she's getting a hard time. In terms of originality on the X Factor, something fresh and new, she is definitely up there. I wouldn't mind any of the final 5 to win as I think they are all talented in their own way, but in terms of who could stick around after the show, Cher has it in the bag. She's current and I think that's what a lot of people fail to see.
