I don't think her apology to Harry was sincere at all, she just realised how bad it made her look to the public and tried to reverse it as quick as possible but people are not that thick. How dare she say who doesn't deserve to stay or who doesn't want it as much.

Then came on the water works to make everyone in the house sympathize with her yet she wasn't even the one being attacked! She made out like she was the victim yet again went Harry when off on his merry way and had a good time with everyone else.
