She's only there because of her association with Aaron (which SHE instigated). Without him she'd have no storyline or airtime at all.

hmmm i think the question for me was if aaron was that good of friends with mark. I thought it was a bit attention seeking his attitude when mark left, like he want everyone feeling bad for HIM. Like when he awkwardly stood under the stairs With a face like " poor me poor me"
