Jem said it yes, but weeks agos, (about 2 wks into the show) Faye was in the diary room and came away with the same thing - when she was all teary (pissed I think) but was giving it the old "she'd never felt as wanted around people etc and definately mentioned that she doesn't really have friends, felt like she had some in the house - but she definately mentioned it.

I agree. She certainly doesn't look around 50 (going on the premise that Jem is meant to be 'about' 25, and going on the premise that Ma Palmer had Jem when she was around 25).

Something very odd indeed about the Palmer women, their looks vs their real ages.!!

there is something really strange about them but I think they are just very headstrong and in Faye's case she's had to grow up with the other two ordering her around.
