Yep, I think a few weeks before my January and June exams, I'll take a break from TiBB and other forums, especially for the June exams, cause there's no chance for re-takes then, inless you fancy re-doing Year 13.

Haha same here. I'm doing my June 06 exams at the same time as my Jan 07 exams, cos I was in hospital for my June 06 ones. So errm... hard work for January. So no forums.

But I really don't fancy re-doing year 13, haha.

"Your application has been sent to your referee. Once your reference has been
completed and approved, your referee/co-ordinator will be able to send your
application to UCAS. After it has been processed you will be sent a welcome
letter containing your application number. You can then log in to track the progress of your application using this number and the same username and password you chose when making your application."

YES!

Just a quick question:

Is the 15th January deadline a firm deadline, or do they accept applications after that date?

Thanx.

You can still apply after 15th January but your application may not be given equal consideration to those who applied before this deadline.
There's also something called UCAS Extra which I think is designed for people who get no offers first time round.
Finally there's clearing for people who miss the grades for their firm and insurance institutions.

Indeed, finally over with, hopefully!

Well, I've applied to four Uni's but for basically all the same degree... with some variations according to the different Uni's.

I want to do Music & Media Management and have applied for London Met, Uni of East London, LIPA (Liverpool) & Uni of Gloucester. All the ones I could find my course at.

Fingers crossed...

I have all my A-level equivalents done in Ireland and I have great grades so hopefully they'll think my personal statement and reference are OK too. Well, one of them at least.

Have you applied this year, sol?

Yeah I have applied for September / October 2007 entry.

I've applied for BA History at Reading, Leicester, Lancaster, Exeter, Southampton and Cardiff.
I think that Lancaster or Exeter will be my firm choice and Reading or Leicester my insurance choice.

I need between 300 and 340 points to get into them which is AAB-BBB.

Ive been told by the uni that Im interested in that they dont mind at all if I apply after 15th January- in fact they get most of their applications in Feb/March.

Ive been 'offered' a place to study Quantity Surveying at the UCE in Birmingham. All I have to do is send in a satisfactory UCAS form.

Any tips on who I could choose to be my reference? Its been 7/8 years since I was in education doing A-Levels.
