I do not think we should stop foregn aid but the way we donate it needs to change.
One of the main conserns to me when I donate money to international charites is where exactly does my my money go to? I think instead of issuing lump sums of cash to developing countries we should invest in donating resources that can help them (food, tools, clothing etc) instead of pure money. This in turn would be funded and managed by inderpendent charites and not by the goverments. NO foreign aid should be donated DIRECTLY to foreign govererments. That would ensure trust from the public and make sure their pound is going to good causes. This is a better solution.
