1. Flavours of Entanglement-Alanis Morissette (2008)


Only listened to her albums recently but her music is absolutely amazing. This is my favourite by her and is already easily my favourite album I've ever heard.

2. Adulthood-CocknBullKid (2011)


Very very recent album, but nonetheless absolutely amazing. Her voice sounds a bit off at first but when you get used to it you realise this is an amazing pop album and she has so much talent. Thanks to Scott for telling me about her. I adore her.

3. Survivor-Destiny's Child (2001)


Amazing. Brings back memories of being a little kid and the songs range from hilariously ridiculous (Nasty Girl & Apple Pie A La Mode) to really soulful (Brown Eyes & Emotion). But yeah I love every track and this is still a classic in my eyes

4. Breakaway-Kelly Clarkson (2004)


Grew up listening to this loads, I know and love every track

5. Vices & Virtues-Panic! At The Disco (2011)


I've loved these guys since early 2009 but and their first 2 albums are great but very different. This one sort of mixes the 2 first albums together. Some tracks in the style of A Fever You Can't Sweat Out and some in the style of Pretty. Odd. Not one track I dislike. Really good album.

Heres why i dont like Rated R (this is a post i made in another thread funny enough)








just by looking at these photos of rihanna through the years from 2005 to 2012, you can tell how she changed for the worst during Rated R. you can also tell by the pics why an old school RiRi fan hates Rated R and thinks it is a disgusting devillish horrible album which doesnt suit Rihanna at all. the songs were so reflective of domestic violence and i am not a fan of dreariness. expected a poptastic album better than good girl gone bad but was severely dissapointed. it was a bad era for her. sales prove it (it sold less than its predecessor and its successor). Loud and TTT were her comebacks. its when she went back to normal.

Firstly you shouldnt base it purely on image. But imo Rihanna really sold the role well. And you clearly choose a ****ty picture to represent the Rated R era compared to the others there

And secondly have you played the whole album enough times to let it even 'grow' on you? Its pack with emotion (The Last Song, Russian Roulette, Firebomb) and has a few uplift songs with just a darked edge... which you seem to have ignored (Rude Boy, Photographs, Wait Your Turn).
