I am only saying things from how I see them,I don't dislike her as a person but if I was in the house I would feel as though I would have to tread on eggshells in my dealings with her.
I don't like being in that situation and she comes across to me, at any rate,in my view as looking down on others.

She went overboard for Becky because in her own words she felt she hadn't been able to bond with anyone else in the house at that time,15 others in the house and she felt she couldn't bond with any of them.

Then she was put out when she knew Becky had been on a task befriending her yet she did a task on her first night ansd expected everyone to be fine with that because it was a task.

Very hard work that lady in my opinion but others see her differently to how I do, I can only go with how I feel about a housemate though.

Deana is extremely blunt, maybe that plays a part.

Examples are when she said Victoria had evil eyes or when she was talking with Scott about Arron, she doesn't seem very tactful. To her own detriment. But I don't think she has an air of superiority or snobby-ness about her like people on her are saying. I think Conor and Arron's critisicms of her don't even make any sense. Like Conor saying she faked being shocked, how would you even know for sure? Talk about clutching at straws.

All it is is group mentality. Conor, Ashleigh, Sara, Caroline, Scott and Lauren don't dislike her but they'll nominate her because they know everyone else doesn't like her. Arron and Lydia for some reason dislike her genuinely and have been leading the bitch brigade.

That's 8 noms, she'll defo be up. And she may get noms from others like Luke S and Adam who might not be able to think of anyone else.

Not sure what Becky will do. That's a potential 11 nominations, she'll be up with Ben and/or Becky.

I think she'll stay against Benedict but not against Becky.

Lets be honest here-the problem is Deana is classy-something that MOST of the bb housemates could never understand. And as much as I hate to play the race card-i think sometimes these common chavs dont like that a non-white person can be classier then them!

Deana is the only one of the only ones that don't show themselves up but still gets air time, even when she argues she don't get aggressive end up looking like a idiot. She reminds me allot of Shilpa or Suzie. Lets face it women with class don't do well on BB

Good to be back for another series. To date, it's been good. But tonights events are the first to make me want to post. That taking her stuff....well that was just really nasty. It'd be ok for a laugh if she was a good friend of theirs, but she isn't. Thus, it's just picking on her.

I don't think guys that immature think too much about what they're doing, so I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. But I'd like to think that if I was there, I'd have the courgae to let them know that that behaviour is crossing a line. I think Adam should have done that. He knew enough not to participate - he should have known enough to intervene.

Life is full of people we don't really shine with. But since we all left the school yard, we don't go about forming little gangs and picking on them. It's juvenile and nasty. They're not necessarily bad lads, but they need to grow up.

Deana herself is isolated because of her culture perhaps? For example I noticed her say taht she promised not to wear a bikini. Perhaps that's unnacceptable in her culture, and to her family? If so, being true to herself isolates her from the more typical group. BB contestants fall over each other to prove how liberal and tolerant they are when it comes to race, sexuality or gender. However when it comes to tolerating those who are culturally different, they don't understand, or don't want to know.

I agree very much with your post, Id definitely tell them to quit it. Im not so sure if its down to her culture but more so her class. Shes very proper and articulate and maybe thats something most of the other HMs cannot relate to, even though she knows how to have fun like the rest of them (see: dance task for example, got stuck right in). Most have misjudged her character as 'playing up to the cameras'. Its not the first time though, reminds me very much of BB8 Lesley and who was it Seany? That pissed her off a couple of times. Obviously Deana is quite different herself from Lesley, much more fun, but same sort of thing.

He did participate though, when they were all looking through the window and heard Kanye West - Golddigger playing at the party he made a comment that the song was perfect for Deana. It was totally uncalled for and that's what put me off Adam.

I agree with the rest of your post though, this treatment of Deana is disgusting and it's uncomfortable viewing.

Nothing wrong with hiding the chocolate and whatever the other thing was, they only put it in Rebecca's drawers she'll get them back by tomorrow, there would be no problem with it if it had been Deana and Lydia doing it to Arron's things. Saying they'd nominate her in the garden.... so what, like I said Lydia and Deana herself have had discussions about who they would nominate.

Its more of the fact its a continuing thing with more people participating in the bashing as the days go on. Not cool at all really of course if it was any old prank itd be 'funny' maybe but because it was against Deana again it just didnt sit well with me.

Exactly. Whenever she's seen enjoying herself she's accused of doing it for airtime or to look good with the public, she can't do anything right. None of the other housemates get the same treatment, it's really unfair on Deana.

Yeah, it really is disgusting the treatment they're giving her and you're 100% right, they accuse her of moaning all the time and being miserable but when they can see she's having fun and enjoying herself, they complain about that too as if it's unacceptable for her to be having a good time. Deana has no clue that they all think so poorly of her and I'm sure she would be very hurt if she ever found out. They really are a bunch of bullies.

I agree with that, in any other case it would have been funny but you're right the uncalled for bitching and scrutinizing about her that preceded the prank made it very unfunny to watch.

she's too classy to fit in is the problem. she has looks, body ,nice speech and wont take **** of anybody .and that scares people makes them think they are inferior so their form of defence is to attack. which is silly as she seems a nice trusting person who is up for a laugh if she gets the chance.
its a shame ashleigh is in there she is ruining a lot of good housemates. as i think sara would get on with deana. luke would be more out there and lauren could relax more without that spiteful venom ash spits.
deana doesn't suck up to the group n they hate that. i like it. better to sit on your own than sit with witches n bitch
