LOL Nessa! How dare you insult queen Deana like that .. she isnt any of those things and although you like Arron, you have to admit the lad neds quite a bit of improvment in the morals and respect category, specially his behavior towards women.

id say its arron conor and luke s as the main source of the evilness. ash is entwined through her fake romance , caroline just thrives on it so she fits in, and she stirs everything up cause shes a sad little spitful bitch. the more they do the more she thinks she can get away with. makes her feel important. she is nobody without the backup
becky the part whale part sheep joins along in it so she's liked by the group she doesn't care about anybody so stiring and following the tossers comes easy for her.

I notice matthew you avoid my specific question as to whether you have particcipated in this type of discrimination yourself in real life? have you ever pointed at or mocked another persons physical imperfections, abnormalities etc? why are you avoiding this question?

matthew yet again hides behind the various interpretations he makes of bullying. ultimately this chap condones this discrimination , bullying and bigotry. this is exactly what pointing at people and laughing and mocking their physical imperfections to try and make them feel bad and make yourselves feel good. its bullying its bigotry and its discrimination. It saddens me that ash and shiv cant see this and that matthew here cant see this. maybe one day when he matures he will understand the enormous damage this type of bullying discrimination and bigotry can do. often it leads to suicide. shame on you matthew, I pray one day you will change your ways and not condone this dreadful behaviour, until that day of enlightenment you are a supporter of bigotry and therefore imho a bigot yourself

I don't see how my personal life experiences are relevant? I'm not interested in yours.

Also, as I outlined above, having a laugh at someone isn't automatically discrimination or bullying. Everyone on this board has said something mean about someone else, at one point in their life, and the same has been said about them. You have said several rude things to me today in fact.

Are you asking me if I've ever had a laugh at someone elses expense? The answer is yes. Has someone else ever laughed at my expense? The answer is yes. Last week, my friend who wears glasses, wasn't wearing them one night, and walked into a glass door because he didn't see it. We all thought it was quite hilarious and had a laugh. When I was a kid, I was golfing with friends and I fell out of the golf cart. My blonde hair got a grass stain in it that wouldn't come for a month. We laughed about it for weeks.

Various interpretations? I interpret the definitions one way, as I outlined above, and also provided clear & concise examples detailing how they are not applicable to the case at hand. Using the definitions of bullying & discrimination yourself, let's hear your interpretation, relating to Ash/Shiv/Adam, of why they are in fact applicable in this specific scenario. You seem quite passionate about this issue, so it shouldn't be that difficult to have a mature & educated debate about it.

I notice matthew you still avoid my specific question as to whether you have participated in this type of discrimination yourself in real life? have you ever pointed at or mocked another persons physical imperfections, abnormalities etc? why are you avoiding this question? are you a coward as well as a supporter of bigotry?

Bullying is any persistant behaviour designed to isolate a person from a group.

There's another valid definition for you.

I'd contest that's a fairy simplistic generalization of the term, but sure, that does make sense.

You sure do love to use the word shameful a lot. You asked me if I've ever laughed at someone who had an imperfection. I answered that.

No I didnt read my whole question again.
I rarely use the word shameful unless I am discussing these matters with you.

The fact youre trying to condone people laughing at and mocking another persons body in such a situation is disgraceful and yes shameful...the fact you avoid honest answers to direct questions is shameful, the fact you try to hide behind other peoples interpretations of bullying is also shameful

if you want to be cowardly and hide behond other interpretations that actually give an honets opinion yourself , heres 1 of the wikipedia interpretations of bullying

"Bullying behavior may include name calling, verbal or written abuse, exclusion from activities, exclusion from social situations, physical abuse, or coercion.[13][18] Bullies may behave this way to be perceived as popular or tough or to get attention. They may bully out of jealousy or be acting out because they themselves are bullied.[19]

U.S. National Center for Education Statistics suggests that bullying can be classified into two categories:

1.Direct bullying, and
2.indirect bullying (which is also known as social aggression).[1
He also suggests that social aggression or indirect bullying is characterized by attempting to socially isolate the victim. This isolation is achieved through a wide variety of techniques, including spreading gossip, refusing to socialize with the victim, bullying other people who wish to socialize with the victim, and criticizing the victim's manner of dress and other socially-significant markers (including the victim's race, religion, disability, sex, or sexual preference, etc.). Ross[20] outlines other forms of indirect bullying which are more subtle and more likely to be verbal, such as name calling, the silent treatment, arguing others into submission, manipulation, gossip/false gossip, lies, rumors/false rumors, staring, giggling, laughing at the victim, saying certain words that trigger a reaction from a past event, and mocking. The UK based children's charity, Act Against Bullying, was set up in 2003 to help children who were victims of this type of bullying by researching and publishing coping skills.

It has been noted that there tend to be differences in how bullying manifests itself between the sexes. Males tend to be more likely to be physically aggressive whereas females tend to favour exclusion and mockery, though it has been noticed that females are becoming more physical in their bullying,[16] whereas conversely, males tend to opt for exclusion and mockery rather than physical aggression when the victim is perceived as too strong, or being physical would otherwise cause problems for the bullies (i.e., cowardice), and/or the bullies see physical aggression as immature (i.e., the bullying is occurring among adults).

I also used wikipedia for my bullying definition. I took the first couple sentences from the introduction, as they are typically the most important and relevant. Interesting how you neglected do that yourself, while visiting the same page, but instead went through the article and handpicked one particular sentence to take out of context. Surely you must know from your uni days that that's a bit of a stretch.

Anyways, you've completed half the task, yay! We're well on our way to having an educated and mature debate

For the other half, just take those definitions, and apply them to the situation in question. You can then formulate an argument as to why they're applicable in this specific scenario, in order to contrast my views. Once you've done that, you will have derived an educated opinion. I look forward to hearing it. Good luck!

Why do people take things so seriously!!!!If we want to like Caroline let us like Caroline , we will never know the intricate workings of her mind her motives or her agendas but some people dont like her , thats perfectly natural some people do, say whay you think but dont get ridiculous about it all and start personal attacks etc

I think its Arron and Caroline jointly!

If you got rid of both of them then it would be a much more pleasant house.

Conor also needs to go but he's a bit of a sheople!
I don't think it's her by herself, she waits until the others have targetted some one and then makes it 10 times worse for them.
She targets ppl too like she is trying to do with Adam , but the rest aren't so sure about having a p[op at him, girls seem to be easier targets.
Caroline is a disgrace.
