The first one is a cat and mouse smut game between the two main characters. The second one has a heart and quite an enjoyable story if you're a sucker for love [I.E. me], the third one is a boring random next episode trudge that squeezes far too much in yet develops almost nothing and ends as you would expect.
So I actually enjoyed them somewhat. Obviously they're terribly written but people raise enjoying naff films to the level of consumerist art nowadays. I wonder when the same courtesy will extend to the literary world? The idea that they're books means you have to sort of approach the medium with trepidation and only read the finest, quality screened books that have critic approval shagging all over the back covers. I think it's slightly different. Reading a book usually takes a longer time, so it has to be good for me to make the effort.
A ****e film can just play as background noise. |
