Exactly, You cant handle peoples opinions. No one likes Adam Ricket to be honest. Im sorry but its the truth. Yet no one care if he enters. He would be not better then Susie.

I can "handle peoples opinions" if they are balanced and backed up like Mike's. However, some people's opinions have essentially been "no adam rikit coz he iz sh*te".

A new, politely put and perfectly acceptable way to put forth a personnal opinion.

Cause he is...
No one cares about him being priminister. Most of the people on this forum these days are teens and have no interest in political news. Thats why your getting a bad reception, cause no one is bothered about his doings or himself.

Well, Adam will be going into the house according to the press release, but he will be a proper housemate so you can vote him out if you wish.

The Moopy posters disagree. The cool youth of today are interested in the ins and outs of politics, and the fact that a cool person like Adam is entering politics is appealing to them.

poeople will be interested in politice if it isn't rammed down their throats on a big brother website. No-one cares about Adam Rickitt here anyway, and they won't care if he becomes prime minister. Do you see any threads on Tony Blair? No.

Well, the posters on Moopy, a teen site which is essentially a barometer of coolness, have a whole section devoted to politics.

But will you care about him when he enters the BB house? Or will you tamper with your brain so you don't comprehend his presence ont he screen?

Ah, but I thinks it's more than safe to assume we would if it was his name mentioned in the press release instead of Adam Rickitt's.

You're argument is fataly flawed.

The Moopy posters disagree. A search for cool on their forums yields an almost infinite number of search results.

i'll care about him about as much as i care about pete.
And i'll care because he is a housemate, not because he's had such a "FASCINATING" career on lame soaps and in the dodgy conservative party.

I think not; most Grandads adhere to the cliche and give their grandchildren a Werther's Original instead.

Edwin, thank you for finally being reasonable. I was not asking you to admire his career, I was just laying out his career as background information for people.

And yet you care about the background of Lea, who was in porn, or Spiral, who was a DJ, or Imogen, who was Miss Wales. You contradict yourself.

You may not, but others find that sort of thing incredibly useful when deciding where to cast their vote.

I didn't, actually.

And he's not even a housemate so that isn't even important.

Calling Adam Rickitt a 'celeb' is really stretching the realms of stardom, isn't it?

But if you look at the votes, most people don't want the bloke in the house.
