Kye - nice guy, nice voice, any potential? No.

Rylan's not the best of singers and of course there's not much potential there either so in the end why does it really matter which act goes? At the end of the day Rylan's a much better act to watch and provides a lot more entertainment than Kye does. Now if this was Rylan VS Ella, and they sent her home, then perhaps we could have some form of serious discussion about the direction this show is going in - but they're not. Kye was what I like to call a 'filler' act, not going to win - just there to make up the numbers. Let's not kid ourselves.

Rylan is an entertainer...

Kye tried being lively and charismatic last night and still couldn't manage it. Yes his music from before the show is nice. But he's not got the gift of selling music.

Whereas Rylan is a TV personality and worthy of air-time.

I actually thought Rylan did better in the sing off but that's possibly due to the shock of realising that he can actually somewhat sing. The problem with Kye is that he is dull and uninteresting.

Rylan squealed in the sing-off, that is not singing imo.

Jahmene, for me, is actually one of the better singers in the competition. He has an awful lot of soul in his voice for one so young. He could go on to great things. Why do you find him screechy? Do you not think he hits the high notes well?

I don't blame Tulisa at all, she has championed Rylan from the start,she decided to take it to deadlock and after all his huffing and puffing, it is Gary not Tulisa who needs to look at his situation on X Factor.
His acts have for some reason polled the least votes cast in their weeks in the bottom 2 when deadlock has been the way it was decided who goes out.
Therefore whatever he has done with his acts,he has not done enough to connect them to the public and get the public voting for them enough.

Gary also needs to re-assess his position as to Christopher, every single one of the 3 acts Gary put through to the live finals have came bottom of the poll likely in their weeks going out, they are all gone.
The only one he now has is the one he himself actually chose not to put through.
That says a lot for his judging,mentoring and song selection skills in my opinion.

Having said that, I was stunned Kye was in the bottom 2 at all,he was for me the best of the night last night but in the end he got the least votes from the public and if he is getting the least votes from the public now, it would not indicate that he would do well from X factor as the Winner.
Kye may well do much better now going out at this stage than be forced to sing songs of Gary's choosing that the voting public clearly don't like him doing, that in the end is Gary's fault,not Tulisa's.

Tulisa never had any credibility and she just gets worse as the weeks go by. For me, Kye had a much better voice, and I think he has improved a hell of a lot.
