I love seeing photographs and videos of old buildings like these

Have you checked out the urban exploration threads Ammi? theres a link to an entire forum about it and they have tons of pics, some are really interesting and some are also a bit sad like the old hospitals and asylums etc.

The altarpiece from the chapel was moved to a maintenance building before the island was abandoned where it still sits on a table

..it's still bright and shiny though..it doesn't look abandoned...well, apart from the fact that there's no people in it..I guess that's quite important for an airport...

..no one has any money..there were a lot of abandoned shops/offices plus private homes in Italy when I went a few years ago...also, in France as well..I noticed last year that there was a lot more than there used to be....
