it's just occurred to me there's no 'Outstanding Contribution to British Music' award this year...

and the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Kate Bush, the Clash, the Cure, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, New Order, Radiohead, Pink Floyd and the Smiths still haven't had an inauguration in that...

and the Spice Girls have...

The Outstanding Contribution to British Music award has been dropped this year and instead an award will be given to a charity which deserves special recognition.
