I said this last night when watching it. No because he's camp, plenty if effeminate straight guys out there, but because his "attraction" to both Charlie and originally Hazel has seemed completely contrived, like he's had to act it. Not that he "must" fancy them or anything... But, it's more like he dorant even know what a guy who likes a girl would act like... So he's struggling and going with stereotypes.

I think he may well be either gay or asexual (no attraction to either sex).

Sexuality seems to be very fluid and certainly hard to pin down using character traits.
