Johnny Fgs hes worked hard for years to lip read. Along with him having hearing aids, it would be rare for him to say what did you say.

I have been looking at AJ for weeks on tv and i am from the same area with the same accent and i still need subtitles to understand her and i have full hearing. I rest my case.

I was just commenting on the fact that the "main host" is now on tv for only 3 evenings a week rather than 5 (or 6) evenings a week that emma was as main host last series.

Really, well my husband also wears 2 hearing aids,and if we are in the car he can't catch everything I say. He lip reads,and believe it or not,the accents don't throw him as much as someone turning their face away from him.

Oh I see, well I wouldn't call Rylan the 'main host' anyway, I'd say all three of them share the role equally

Last year Emma was the main host cause she did the majority of the shows, this years it's pretty even really

Pretty sure if her accent and voice is that hard to understand then lip reading would actually be easier.

How do you know all these deaf people? (let alone many that have the same opinion about a reality show that not many people watch) Im just interested to know its ok if you dont want to talk about it.
It just seems that unless you are involved in a hard of hearing charity that it would be peculiar for somebody to know "many" deaf people.

Im just interested thats all.

Well said Smugie I am partially deaf and people who don't suffer with it need to get educated.its bad enough being partially deaf cant imagine being fully deaf,must be awful.
