He mentioned it in his audition video. He's hardly made an issue of it for the past 9 weeks, has he?

There was absolutely no need for him to introduce his "Role Model" speech, it should have been his accomplishments in the house that he should have mentioned.........Oh, hang on a minute.......Yep he Had to bring it up in that case!

Sam's not a great role model at all.
He has no career to speak of at all, has no real views or opinions on anything so i just can't see any reason at all why anyone would seriously consider him a role model.

Yeh we all have to be filthy rich philanthropists to be role models. Some of the best people In this world are also some of the poorest.

I think he probably wants to show deaf kids that they should have the confidence to go out achieve what they want to do and not let hearing difficulties hold them back etc

I don't doubt for a second that Sam wants to show deaf kids they can acheive things in life, it's a very decent thing to say. But saying that is one thing but to then behave in the way he has towards women in the house with his sexist remarks goes directly against what he is trying to do.

Little kids don't watch BB... or at least shouldn't be. Winning BB would give him more opportunities and allow him to become a role model for kids outside the house I think he means.
