Justin Bieber brings pop power to the Philippines as he raises funds for Typhoon Haiyan victims


Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber arrived Tuesday in the Philippines, where he has launched a campaign to help victims of last month’s killer typhoon.

Bieber, adored by young fans worldwide for hits like Baby, arrived on a special flight, Immigration officer Jerome Ollet said. Pictures on social media showed fans snapping photos of the star at Manila’s airport



In a video posted on the fundraising platform Prizeo, Bieber asked fans to help him support victims of Typhoon Haiyan, which left nearly 6,000 people dead and more than 1,700 others missing, and flattened entire towns and villages in the central Philippines.



Bieber said donors get a chance to win a prize to hang out with him in a studio while he works on his upcoming album.

“The moment I heard about the tragedy a few weeks back,” Bieber said, “I thought I can count on you guys to make a difference.”

I think you should do your research before you actually comment on him. He wasn't drag racing after drinking. Police filed a fake report and they got suspended for lying. Justin's alcohol level was way under the legal amount. And video evidence show he wasn't drag racing. The only thing he did wrong that night was drive with an out of date licence which us beliebers don't take his side on that part as it was wrong. And he has learnt that. So please, know the facts before you say something about him.

i was going to write out a massive long reply, but there's no point. Beliebers (in most cases) are crazy and incredibly naive. He's caused **** in the past, has done again this past week and will continue to be an insufferable little tool. You can rant away about all the good things he's done, but the chances are (as with every single other celebrity) that he did it for media coverage and to look good.

I can name lots of celebrity's that have done charity work but are bad people,if you do charity work it doesn't make you a good person , If somebody did charity work but they killed someone it doesn't make them a good person.

All you lot care about is the stuff he does wrong. And about the smoking, he's 19. He turns 20 next month. He has been diagnosed with depression for the past 6 months, just like many people, smoking gives him the relief from all the stress. But do you ever hear about the charity work he does? He raised over $3 million for the Philippines, he helped to build a school. He is the celebrity who has done the most wishes for the make a wish foundation. Even today he bought fans iPhone's in an apple store just for being his fans and there for him, he holds private concerts. And you dare to call him a dick head? Okay.
