Chuff we do actually agree. I also love Rylan, I have said loads of times he is a lovely lad but even though he was definitely better than last year, he falls well short of a professional like Emma or the like. My contention is the same as most posters, why should we have to watch a very watchable show with semi professional presenters.

There will come a day that we do disagree but I would expect you to be diplomatic in your reply and not write something you know will wind me up. A trait that seem to elude some of our fellow posters. Mind you our generation say it as it is without getting nasty.

Hes not as slick as Emma granted, but I just love him so excuse him anything ,I was brought up with manners ,like yourself, I abhore rudeness and it says more about the shallow people who think its ok to speak to others like they do

How has a thread about the quality of Rylan's presenting skills given anyone an excuse or opportunity to comment on the characters of other posters or dare I say it an entire generation?

It was a generalisation based on comments made and answered and seemingly correct in its nature judging by the offence you have taken to a convo between 2 friends. Jack, there will be things you don't agree with in life but it is not always a good idea to malign everything you see or hear. It is a forum and no malice was meant, don't be so fickle.

I gave it a go, lasted about 3 minutes, far too cringe worthy for me. But I understand people who do like it, because cringe TV is very normal nowadays.

I never take any notice of viewing figures. Hence this question. Have they decreased since Rylan and AJ appeared on the scene last year?

He needs to question their responses like Emma does and push them a bit more and he'll be there in all honesty. I actually reckon having AJ at his side helped not only her but him too because they bounced off each other and there wasn't any dead air, especially with her gob too

But for someone that only really began presenting eight months ago, he's doing pretty well.
Even though i don't like Rylan i'd say this^ sums his presenting up well.

I don't know about anyone else but I got the distinct impression that Iain carried the show tonight, Rylan looked a bit bemused and didn't even interrupt as often as he normally does. Are they looking to hand BOTP over to Iain lee.

Agreed. Iain could have done the show on his own perfectly adequately: Rylan seemed a bit like a spare part!

Yeah I was going to say it was much better tonight with Iain as co-host. It's a bit difficult to compare Bit On The Psych to the regular shows though because the format alters slightly, there's less audience interaction and it's more a panel discussion show but with Iain to bounce off it seemed to flow a lot better (and they have better chemistry than AJ and Iain did too).

I'm also glad Iain is now technically being treated as an actual presenter of this show, I know he pretty much became one last summer but AJ almost always did the links on her own. Having him and Rylan stood next to each other at the start of tonight's show looked right, if that makes sense.
