Thanks I didn't read it
Probably modelled herself on her. So the 15 year old will be studying for GCSEs and was only a few weeks into term when she was pulled out again so they could have a holiday, beggars belief to me honestly!

The oldest is 15 & doing her GCSE's. Some people think they were only fined because of them taking the holiday during term time. The school refused permission because the oldest daughter has a poor attendance record. Obviously her past attendance was taken on board & this was why permission for the holiday was denied

..yeah, I think that there is definitely more to this story because they wouldn't have got a penalty notice anyway for the time it says the children were absent so I think that maybe they had more time off on a separate occasion as well as it being a GCSE year for one of them ...
