Going back on topic, the crowds response was completely justified for someone of Linda's character. Who cares for her opinion? She's shown utter contempt and displayed such bitterness during her stay, why shouldn't the crowd act accordingly?

Default 'Off off off'

It's only the fans of Linda that are getting pissy and calling the crowd scum. Let's be honest, if Jim had gone tonight and he received the same welcome, the crowd would have been amazing.

I'm a fan of Jim, and I have reiterated that so many times over the last few weeks, so no. And I've also created this thread many times before. They are scum for booing and chanting 'off off off' to most housemates, and they need to go.

I've only heard them do it to the housemates that are hideous human beings. I haven't heard then chant like that this series.

Lot's of people, those who don't make judgements based on 45mins of footage from a reality TV show.
I for one think her responses were justified in the main due to provocation.
Imo anyway.

Not true at all for me either, I want them gone so I can hear what everyone has to say is all.
Regardless of who it is or whether they're booing or cheering.

The crowd didn't even conflict with the interview. I heard every word of the interview. Just seems like a big fuss over nothing tbh

I think the 'off! off! off!' chanting was off putting for both emma and linda.

Which started after Linda got pissy with Emma for asking her about Jim.

It only seemed to bother Linda because she couldn't think of anything to make herself look better.

Emma handled it just fine IMO.

Linda was so rude to Emma. She kept interrupting her.

She was very assertive, not rude as all imo. Linda explained the situation as she saw it that's what she was there to do.
Emma and linda both did well despite the attempts to derail the interview from the crowd.

Ok then fair enough, but I bet you haven't minded (in the past) the crowd shouting insults at a HM you didn't like.

Linda was very rude. Hence why the crowd began to chant.

Well that's very rare because the crowd have appalling taste and will more often than not boo any housemate that actually speaks in the series and only cheer those who are background characters, and well I don't support them obviously so

If they're going to insist on booing then for the love of God boo the dull ones, but tbqh I just think it's unnecessary, they're just people on a TV show there's no need for it - they watch them for 48 minutes a night and humiliate them just because they had an argument with someone else in the house or something like that, and it's pathetic

The US audience cheers every houseguest that is evicted, with very few exceptions (one being a racist, callous bitch in the last season), and it's a much nicer atmosphere

Fair point, it isn't very nice and the eviction crowd aren't the smartest cookies in the world, but Linda didn't help herself, she could have told Emma that she wanted to talk about anyone but Jim.

Whatever she'd said they would have chanted, they were whipped into some bizarre bloodlust over all this percieved 'hatred' for jim davidson.... It's totally unwarranted the level of abuse she's recieving for what, in the main jim caused in the first instance.
It's not rude to defend your stance on an issue.

So true.

When Emma is interviewing someone I just want to hear the interview without the boos and shouting from the crowds.

bravo.
jack, you now speak of the feelings of the evicted contestants and their humanity, yet you openly crave adversity and arguments in the house at more vulnerable housemates' expense.

They probably would of chanted, due to her at times, despicable behaviour in the house. People banging on about 'it's only 45 minutes of the day' need to remember that what's shown in that 45 minutes actually happened. The fact is, it brought down the mood in the house for them and became tedious, not only for them, but the viewers too. Their last spat, caused by Linda, over Jim offering her a knife to cut the food he made for them. That was completely unnecessary and it was caused by Linda's obsession with Jim and her need to hate him. Most of the time Jim couldn't say anything without that witch jumping on it.

IMO the crowds reaction to her was completely warranted. If you offer yourself up for judgement on Big Brother and act like a ****, you're going to be treated like one. But Linda refusing to answer Emma's question and doing so quite rudely sparked the chanting of "OFF"
She should of known there would be talk of Jim in her interview, she's spent the last three weeks consumed with hatred for the bloke, gone out of her way to try and get people on side, which is evident with Luisa, Sam and Liz. She's done everything in her power to get people to dislike him.

They know, before they go in they could come out 'hated' yet still participate. Fact is, they have to expect reactions like that, especially if they act like arseholes whilst earning their buck.
