I'm actually surprised at how tolerable Kyle has been on the feeds so far. Doesn't seem to be as douchey as I thought he would be.

I bet they're taping the evictions again, it's 4pm and they're already dressed up and talking about the eviction looming

Does anyone know why they weren't actually live last year? The US evictions are live aren't they?

think tonight's is definitely taped, not sure about the rest of the season though

I hope it's a one-off, I really don't see any reason not to do them properly live...and I think it's a bit wrong advertising it as a 'live eviction' if it was filmed about four hours in advance, a fifteen minute delay okay...but that's pushing it

All houseguests gathered around the table, indoor lockdown too by the looks of the backyard doors being closed

Yeah I dunno why they call it live. But it's in front of a live audience. I imagine it has something to do with the CRTC rules. If something bad went down during a real live broadcast they'd probably can the show.

I wonder if they're scared for time, with it being taped they can cut things.

Both true points I suppose, but aren't BBUS evictions genuinely live? I don't actually know if they are or not so it's difficult to compare

The reason (well, for this season anyway) is that they'll want to have some time inbetween the eviction show and the side show to brief the houseguest on what they'll be asked/show exclusive clips of post-eviction etc.

As for last season, I'm not sure why they weren't live.

All main house feeds are down because I think they still might be doing the HoH comp or they might be doing the first Have/Have-Not comp.
