Seems your problem with people on anti anxiety meds is because of someone you know on invalidity..who happens to be cheating the system. Because of this you seem to have an irrational dislike for meds that help a LOT of people. I may be wrong, but your post about the person you know who is 'putting on' her depression came across much like that...

I don't think Chuff has an issue with people taking Meds tbh Vicky.
Me and chuff get on well outside the forum and she is well aware that I use SSRI's and has never taken issue with it. If she has seen people claiming ESA for mental health issues that they are in fact lying about I'm sure she would have reservations about 'some' people. |

In that case, what was the point in mentioning the invalidity and such and that she acts sad when her medical comes round?

. I do apologise to Redway and Kate if my comments caused any offence. Personally I have to be forced to take a paracetomol, and it would be my worst nightmare to have to take regular meds, I would go out of my way to find an alternative therapy if it were available.

A Muslim once described my performance as Laertes is the classic shakespearean play 'Hamlet' as an 'unforgivable wooden tragedy'.

As for the sleep thing, I once thought id got up, got ready, took all the dogs out for a walk, was just about to sit down to have my breakfast...then I bloody woke up and had to actually do it all s id been dreaming! it was very real. |

Chill out babes its called lucid dreaming and to be honest once you get control of it its amazing.
Those normal folk don't have this luxury lol. I have epilepsy so I naturally get it can be quite epic when you have control of it. You can do anything in your dreams and if their lucid you can travel the world but its very very scary the first time you experience them. I had the strangest dream last week where I was involved in a bomb going off , I was laying on the floor then as I was waking up this weirdly angelic whisper said "Wake up you're suffocating" I woke up face down on my pillow gasping for air. Just roll with it its probably gonna get weirder but embrace it ![]() |

Edit. Thinking about it a bit more, Im not sure that^ method would work for me at all... It sounds absolutely ridiculous and you need to be serious about it, but how I learnt was a few times a day (when alone obviously) I would jump 3 times and question in my head if I was dreaming..although I knew I wasn't. I did this for about 5 days or so, and then it started to happen in my dreams (as dreams are usually stuff you have done recently). But when you jump in a dream it feels different..and you kind of..click on. Once you realise you are dreaming, just go with it. Last edited by Vicky.; 11-05-2014 at 11:09 PM. |
