..I think the most important rule of all and the only rule is that programmes only exist/continue and thrive with viewers/fans so that audience is something that always has to be kept ‘onside’ ..I don’t believe in any ‘FIX’ theories btw, if Ashleigh goes then she goes, I’ve never had an out and out favourite this year..it is though obviously slanted and manipulated so that we see what they want us to of housemates which has always been the way since live feed ended but with some of the released vid titles this year and how OTT they’ve been, I do think that the dislike of housemates is being ‘hyped’/encouraged more... so these reactions are probably exactly what they want and maybe it’ll work out for them with all the discussion created by the twists and people will continue watching future series but it is a bit ‘risky’ and maybe in the end the final twist will be on them (BB)... in that they’ll lose their audience...I don’t know whether the FIX thing just exists on forums because I’m just going by what fans are saying on forums, here and DS etc or if it’s something that is a big thing on social sites as well but it could be very damaging to BB ....because with any TV programme, the real power is always with the public...

You have Kimberly, Ashleigh and Danielle. They were the 3 housemates the newbies had put on the shortlist. They finally decided on Kimberly and Ashleigh was 2nd choice.
So, on the day of the eviction Kimberly walks from the house, that leaves Ashleigh as the newbie choice of who will be evicted.
Danielle is the only other option.
Of the 3 newbies, Biannca was the one who hated Danielle the most. If you change it so that the decision is made AFTER Biannca is evicted there is an even greater chance that Ashleigh is chosen because the main Danielle hater is no longer part of the equation.
Ashleigh was going to be evicted. Then at the last minute Zoe and Pav had a change of heart. So Danielle was evicted.
If you cannot see the manipulation that is right in front of your eyes you need to pay Marlon a visit

That looks like pretty blatant rigging of the show to me. And if they did that then, they will do it every time if they so wish. And they'll definitely feel they can do it when people keep defending them.

So basically you are still saying that every twists, decision and so on is set up to get Ashleigh out of the house?

No Im sorry I disagree with that and have posted lots of times why, I'm not going back round in circles about it again.

This thread was about the rules and twists in general not one specific housemate.

Marlon would have been up and out regardless though, so would you be saying he was pencilled in for eviction had the public voted him normally because that's what was happening?

I completely agree with what Josy is saying but that was in the days of old BB and not in ch5 BB when they seem to change the rules all the time and not just this things like talking about nominations not really being punished anymore for fights etc being told things about the outside world etc etc. I don't mind one or two change of things but it seems to be every week

Have you read this thread I made? That explains it all. The reason is because the producer/s hate Ashleigh. Exactly the same as you, me and all the rest of public have housemates they love and hate.
Do you think it is fair that producers can be biased like the public?

This power theme doesn't make sense, I thought the whole point was that the PHM would have power to do as they please... Instead they end up getting sh*t on by BB every time... It seems more like Secret's and Lies to me?? .... I think BB have no plans and are making it up day to day, they recycled this twist from when Matthew and Toya had the power.

If course they have the right to do whatever they want. However, that doesnt mean that what theyre doing isnt completely boring and stupid. It doesn't mean that fans and viewers have to accept it, like it, or not wish that they'd go back to how it was when it was less manipulated.
