Anyway, moved on to Pearl Islands. I don't know how much commentary I'll be doing because it's Pearl Islands. Everyone loves this season and everyone knows why it's great. Instead of discussing it further to death, here are my two fave moments so far (surprise - they're both Sandra-related)

The SJDS cast really is greater than the sum of its parts, and the first two episodes were definitely worrisome.
HOWEVER (/BB voice), the boot order is exquisite and everything just comes together so nicely and the season gets better and better each episode that it's easily the best season since HvV/Nicaragua. (footnote: of course any season is instantly elevated with the inclusion of Jaclyn Schultz <3)

The fact that Jeff tricked Chuay Ghan & Sook Jai into thinking that they had merged is so hilarious yet cruel
 I'm not happy that it ****ed Shii Ann over of all people though

the fake merge is hilarious because it's SUCH an appropriate ending to Shii Ann's journey (she really is the most annoying person on the planet and I love her for it) but I still don't dig it at all for reasons I don't want to spoil :3

Did you watch/enjoy Africa, Karl? I watched it recently and thought that it's a little under appreciated in the Survivor community. I didn't mind the season being land-locked at all. |

Not even that but it's so unbelievable just how dominant he was too. Like, he's just SUCH a sleazeball and such a sociopath and it's just all so transparent as a viewer, and it's hard to believe that Helen and Ted and Jan were just that dumb and didn't see it coming.
The next two seasons are arguably the two best ever so it'll be worth it :3
