Yes she's definitely running out of ways to pathetically follow Perez around and get camera time for herself, so she's trying this thing.

Plus she's proved herself incompetent when it comes to verbally challenging Perez because she simply doesn't have the wit or vocabulary to do so. It's either make up with Perez or lose the exposure he gives her. Anyone who has spent time with children knows how irritating it is when they follow people around and talk over them. Hopkins tactic of following Perez just can't last

They have almost identical personality types, outside of the house they would probably get along well.
