AHS is an anthological series so she can take breaks and it'll all make sense because they're all separate stories

It's not really scary (and I'm a massive wuss ) S1 has it's moments, S2 is dark humour, S3 is hilarious, S4 is a bit of a mix of 1+2 (in terms of humour)

Scary rankings would be 2 > 1 > 3 > 4

I've found AHS scary at times, but no more so than an average horror. And the show does pay homage to other horror movies.

Also I haven't gotten around to watching the most recent one, but the next series is gonna have a brilliant cast (including GaGa)
