Yes but after all the voting and promotion they did for Second Chance they wanted to air it first which makes sense.

It probably is. They filmed Cambodia right after Worlds Apart finale, so there wouldn't have probably been enough time for the following season.

Redmond from InsideSurvivor has just confirmed the S32 immunity idol twist, although the details aren't clear yet.

What is the new twist?
Survivor: Kaôh Rōng will start with three separate tribes. Each camp will have a hidden idol as per normal. These idols do not all look different like in Cambodia – in fact, they all look very similar. There is a reason they all look similar and that is because the twist next season is that idols can be combined. That’s right. If two players both have an idol each, they can combine their idols together to create a super idol!

What does this mean?
The details of what exactly the idols can do when combined is still sketchy. It is believed that on their own the idols can be used as normal – a castaway can play it before the votes are read at tribal council in order to nulify any votes cast against them. When two idols are combined though it increases the power.

So it’s time to speculate. What power do you think the combined idol has? Can it be played after the votes are read like the “Tyler Perry” idol? Can it be played after the votes are read and save TWO people? Or is it a completely different power the likes of which we have never seen?

I don't understand why they have to keep upgrading and adding more of these ****ing idols. Yes they often work in favour of my faves and stuff, but can we ever get a season with just one idol in exile or no idols at all?
