Shilpa isn't a snob. She stood up for herself, that doesn't make her a snob. And Jackiey was the one who turned down the apology, so if people are saying Shilpa think's she's better then the Goody's, why would she have tried to speak to Jackiey and apologise in the first place?

I don't think Shilpa is a snob as such but she is a hypocrit. She stated she wanted Jackiey to use her real name when in fact she knows how hard it can be to pronouce names as she couldn't say Dirk's name. Being called "princess" was a really nice name to use so I don't see why Shilpa has any issues with that.

With Shilpa being upset I think it goes alot deeper...she doesn't like Jackiey laughing at the servants and milking the task because it hits home as to how at times she could treat her own maids at home. It was clear that Jackiey was only doing it in a fun way rather than treating them like dirt and they themselves didn't complain in fact they laughed. Shilpa is the one who has maids in every day life so maybe she is looking at how her life is aswell and maybe looking at how much she relys on others so much.

Thats a very good point.

Though ive noticed Jackie can get the name right when she forgets to 'mis-pronounce' it, and maybe Shilpa has picked up on that.

Dirk made no issue out of being called duck so I don't see why being called Princess should be taken as a nasty thing. Jackiey isnt the most stable women..nor the most smart so I can easily see why some things are a challenge for her. On appearance alone I wouldn't imagine Jackiey in tears...she looks "hard" and unbreakable but infact she was in tears over the whole thing....again something I don't think is gameplay on her part because she isn't smart enough to pull it off.

But you also have to see over here it is not that common to have servants...therefore seeing people as servants Jackiey is not normal for Jackiey. That might be a normal way of life for Shilpa and see shes nothing wrong with having them but Jackiey hasn't ever had servants so she was just making it into a bit of fun which is the way tasks are suppose to be in my opinion.

'mis-pronouncing words' is in the 'how to be thick' text book.

Jade has made a living from it as it makes other thick people laugh. It seems her mum is trying, not very succesfully, to get a piece of the action that Jade has.

Pam Ayres used to do the mis-pronounciation thing decades ago. It was very Popliar!!

Simon I agree with what you say about opinions but lately if your opinion is not shared with certain gang members on this forum an argument will occur which could result in a ban that you really dont deserve.
