Completely understand the feeling. I was 16 when I told everyone I was gay. It's not easy, so well done.

Very happy for you Will!!!

My 14 year old came to me this spring to tell me she was Bi...
It only strengthened our relationship with her being able to share something about herself with me. I hope the same happens with you and your Mom.

Also, being able to have confidence in knowing yourself as a person is very important and empowering. Sharing that with others can only strengthen you.

I recall telling my parents i was interested in weather..

they were horrified and told me i would grow out of it, was i sure, did i realise how
difficult this would make my life..

It was hard but i felt a weight or pressure off my shoulders
