Media studies was so tedious. Apparently they change the topic every year and we got print advertisements so we had to look for hidden meanings and bs

Im one of the students who never does my Maths HW really, but I always get away with it because I do.

She always believed me lmao.

I had mixed feelings about Media Studies GCSE.

I found it boring as I found the content to be too repetitive. All we did was analyse things over and over agian, which was long and dull. But often, we got to make films and things like that, and come up with our own ideas, which was good.

I prefered Year 10 Media, as Year 11 Media was focused more on exam.

I rarely give HW, but if someone didn't do it, I would rage, cause I hardly give it out, so it's not like I'm asking for much, if you know what I mean.

I love making movies, I always am the main role. In one of my movies I got strangled by the pool cover sucker (sucks up rain), and in another I got dragged across the floor and thrown out the house

Business (it was some sort of mix with I.T) was also a joke as our teacher couldn't control the class and literally let us just play games on the computers. Someone even got sent out of the business top tips before the exam... what a mess

I get away with not doing HW in science because me and my teacher ****ing hate each other's guts like literally she sent me out once and told to never come back. She also apparently did like a stupid celebration once when I wasn't in.

Once though we was ready for finishing for Easter and she just turned to me and went 'Have a lovely holiday Millie' on about the girl sat next to me but she said it looking at me so I said 'Thanks so much I will' and she said 'Sorry but I thought Millie was a girls name' and I just turned and said 'You learn something new everyday '

She always picks arguments with me over nothing but I'm not going to bore you with every single one but put it this way a boy died at our school this year and she made me take the bracelet off I was wearing for him out of respect on the day of his funeral.

Cut the story short my mum went in about her and complained so she's not allowed to give me detentions I don't think LMAO

thats what are maths teacher would say, she wast much older than us. or it would typical "I'm fuming".

I was treated like a mental patient at school, the amount of time I would be call in to discuss my eating habits, I'd be asked what did you have for dinner, and they would want every detail.

And they'd always come and find if I'd be to lunch, I once walked into form stuffing my face food (on purpose), it was the first time I think they'd seen me eat.

My mum was hilarious once my old HOY rung my mum and said 'There's been a situation involving Daniel today and another girl and it is necessary to ring you so my mum was like what happened and she replied 'Well Daniel apparently flicked yoghurt on this girl on purpose' HONESTLY I can tell you now I did it by accident. My mum just said Daniels already informed me about what happened and the teacher said 'This girl is known for lying, However, Daniel may need to go on report over this situation.' My mum just replied 'No. No he won't. Don't ring me again please unless it's something which is actually important' and my HOY just said 'Umm... okay... sorry'

God, yes I hated that

I actually ran out of time in my Media GCSE, if I remember correctly. I think that was my worst exam.

I did hardly any prep for it, as it was one of my last exams so by that point I just couldn't be arsed with GCSE's anymore as I just wanted it to be over, which I ended up regretting.

We also needed to bring colouring pencils and I was anxious at the timing so my colouring was awful and outside the lines and other people were doing the same and you could hear pencils dropping and the nib of the pencils on the tables, it was awful. Then when I finished the storyboard, the invigilator said 5 minutes left, and I still had one more question to do (the questions were worth 25 marks each), I was like oh crap. I managed to do a bit of it before time ran out. In the end, I got a B in GCSE Media. No doubt the coursework helped, as my coursework was great, and it was worth like 60% of our overall grade whereas the exam was 40%. I think I got a D in the actual exam
