According to the Wilderness Medical Society…

Water temperatures at 160° F (70° C) kill all pathogens within 30 minutes.
Water temperatures above 185° F (85° C) kill all pathogens within a few minutes.

I think they have been instructed to boil for longer because they have no thermometer to know the temperature of the water, and they aren't able to control the heat to ensue maximum temperature.

Regardless, if they were instructed to do so for 20 min, why do you need to cry fowl about Lady C following the guidelines given to them as a camp by production?? It is just another way to argue for the sake of arguing

no other series did they boil water for 15 minutes so I doubt they have suddenly started

Chris asking for a penalty for not winning in a trial was ludicrous... they design the trials so that they won't win 100% of the time. Good for her for calling him out on it

yes but he was just musing on the walk back to camp and if he thinks that then great but that old witch went for him and took it personally and do you know why?

to deflect from the fact she had not won a meal for her campmate

so she could go back and fume and no one would think she had failed

I think lady C is fab. Most of the things she has kicked off about she has been right. Chris was horrible to say people should be punished if they failed a task.
