1. Jermaine. Proved himself as the figure of calm and reason when situations got at their most complicated and stressful. Not a big character, but someone who showed admirable patience and consideration for his fellow housemates, even when he was finding the game stressful himself. A philosophical man with a sincere, good natured attitude towards life.
2. Shilpa. An elegant, dignified lady with good social skills was always going to be one of the main points of interest in the Big Brother house. Her fellow housemates were drawn to her charisma and presence from the very first day, as were the Goodys when they arrived. Never a dull moment in the house regarding Shilpa, as is to be expected when people want to share camera time with you at every opportunity they can make, but where Shilpa flourished is dealing with the excessive attention she got, whether it be positive, negative or somewhere inbetween. Undoubtedly, a showgirl, so she probably enjoyed all the attention. 3. Dirk. An interesting perspective from a man wholesomely aware that he was being imprisoned for the sake of a television show and he grew increasingly tired of it as the days passed. Dirk didnt necessarily make many friends in the house, but his strength of character was something that helped people get by whether they cared to admit it to themselves or not (Im looking at you Jo and Cleo). On the days where Dirk was fed up of playing the grumpy prisoner, he would find it quite easy to have a bit of fun with anybody who cared to join him. A man of principle. 4. Donny. A hilarious first night of 'punk' type behaviour, leading to a few days as a contestant. After hearing about Łndemols sneaky little scheme to make Jade Goody 'head of the house', he left. A statement which, in hindsight, should be admired. 5. Ken. An eccentric old man who was proving to be extremely entertaining when housemates were relaxed, was never going to be made at home by a production company who thrive on shock tabloid headlines. Never given any good coverage on the early highlight shows, his short time in the house went virtually un-noticed by the mass audience, and the show lost a genuine show-biz talent of character and substance when he left. I apprieciated his humour, though few others were given time to notice. 6. Leo. An old show-biz veteran with a huge ego. I thought Leo was hilarious, despite his charm being lost on most people, the way Leo considered himself a VIP ammused me no end. In fairness to him, Leo has earned the right to be treated like a celebrity, which made it even funnier to see him helplessly shouting his case in a house half-full of none-entities who had no right to be there, let alone have special treatment. Leo was a confused individual, but under no circumstances was he vindictive, nasty or lacking in character. A mis-understood chap. 7. Jade. Ms Goody herself. The baddie to Shilpa's goodie. The sure fire guaruntee that the show would cause some headlines. Jade was being payed to cause a race-row long before Jade ever knew she was going to cause a race-row. Łndemols secret weapon had been in preparation for this long before the show ever started despite the fact that she would not have been in on the plan herself. Jade just isnt clever enough to be de-briefed about this sort of operation, and so like a cock in a cock fight, she would have just been kept in isololation until the time was right. It is this very reason why I put Jade quite high in the list, because despite her greed and huge ego making her so easy to manipulate, I still feel her sense of character plays a part in any of this having any meaning when it has all finished. I dont like Jade, but she is a character. 8. Cleo. Since the beginning Cleo always seemed good natured and full of fun, lacking any sort of malice or negativity, but progressively, as the days passed I realised that Cleo is a mass of contradictions and dishonesty all wrapped up in a very well rehearsed 'character'. I dont think Cleo is a bad person, but I do think she needs to get some help and get some life experience before its too late. It seems like she's been kissing a*** all her life. 9. Jackiey. Not the most endearing person Ive ever seen on my television screen, but niether is she a person who wants to see people suffer. Although she causes people to suffer, with her brash, loud, obnoxious personality, its something which, deep down, she wishes she could control a bit better, she just never had the time and intelligence to do it. Jackiey puts on an act like shes happy who she is, which I dont believe, but I do believe she wants to be a good person. 10. Jack. Just a kid thrown in at the deep end. Not very nice, not very intelligent but thats no crime. 11. Steps. Not my favourite kind of person. The ultimate kiss-a***. Never got anything positive to offer a situation apart from insincere ramblings about how great everything is and how great everybody is. Whether you want to go as far as calling it lying, thats debatable, but he rarely speaks the truth. 12. Jo. A girl who thrives on cynicism. Negativity and cynicism are what Jo seeks to get out of her day, whether she sees it in other people or whether she instigates it herself, it is what makes up the person Jo O Meara. 13. Carole. She has a high opinion of herself and an unbelievably high opinion of the importance of her own opinion. This woman used to address the nation in her newspaper column spewing the exact kind of rubbish and diatribe which we have all come to know from watching her on Big Brother. Carole will ALWAYS make controversial statements in the place of speaking up for what is right or the truth, because controversy creates money. She's an insult to journalism, and to the people who read her writing. 14. Danielle. From the moment this girl stepped in the Big Brother house, she was looking to create something controversial, using her talents of 'playing the victim'. Her first port of call was the 'sexual harrassment' trap. She tried several times to instigate some sort of storyline which pitted her the victim of abuse from older male contestants, but due to there being no substance to her claims, little came of it. It was convenient that Jade came along, because Danielle was DESPERATE to associate herself with a high-profile British 'name'. The race-row was like a ride for Danielle. It was like a conveniant wave which allowed her to be in the spotlight for nothing more than being disgusting to someone, though the main reason behind her utterly repulsive behaviour was not because she harboured resentment towards Shilpa, it was because befriending Jade Goody was Danielles meal ticket to 'stardom'. She didnt even SEE the person whose life she was making a misery. Danielle Lloyd would literally slit your throat if thats what was required for her to become a rich and famous star. Pure evil. (Anybody wishing to contest these opinions, dont expect a response, because you won't be getting one.) |

It's not the best thing to say 'grow up' to someone, so deleted.

1. Shilpa Shetty – My number one by default. She’s annoying, controlling and, can be, bit of a pain in the ass. She’s also classy, elegant and dignified. During the race row she conducted herself with immense dignity through an argument that had been brewing for quite some time.
2. Jermaine Jackson – Quite, calm and always in control of himself. Many people criticise the peacemaker in BB but every house needs one or there’d be chaos. And not very entertaining chaos to boot. Probably the real winner of CBB5 as his Jackson 5 musical project is bound to be a hit. 3. Dirk Benedict - Grouchy, cranky but a great sense of humour. Face from the A-Team made by far the best entrance to the house and, while in the house, tried his damdest to be voted out. How can you not be entertained by that? 4. Danielle Lloyd – A very high position for Danielle all things considered. I genuinely believe she’s a nice girl. She’s simple, stupid and weak but she’s also a great deal more calculating than she lets on. Danielle is the kind of girl who thinks her looks can get her out of every scrape. They probably have done up to now. Having said that, I like Danielle – I always stated that – she provided many funny moments in the house. 5. Donny Tourette – His entrance was as spectacular as his departure. He would have been one to watch if he had stayed the course. He is a posh punk and is regurgitating the attitudes of a generation ago. He is also very funny in an unintentional kind of way. 6. H – What a nice man. We found out on that day he went in that H does not stand for hetro, but what a pleasant happy sort he turned out to be. Some would say nauseously so. 7. Cleo Rocos – What a disappointment. I was a fan of hers back in the day and was looking forward to her stay in the house. She started well but when it all kicked off showed how spineless and two faced she was. She committed one of the cardinal sins of Big Brother. She established herself as a shoulder to cry on for Shilpa, and then nominated her. How low can you go? Her characters were not funny and her assault on Dirk was tantamount to harassment. A spectacular fall from grace. 8. Ken Russell – I thought it was a mistake for Ken to enter the house. He is too old and he is a maverick director. He was never going to be comfortable viewing. He did the decent thing when he left 9. Jack Tweed – Was he in there? A compete non-entity. Nuff said. 10. Carole Malone – I do not read her column but I am aware of it. The column taints her in that you cannot believe a word she says. You can smell the insincerity 11. Jackiey - First, who the hell spells Jackie like that? It is as if she put so many letters in there that it must be right. They say look at a woman’s mother to find out what she has to become. Scary. On the other side, her constant mispronunciation of Shilpa name was very funny. Shippa. Sherpa. Shepherd and on and on. 12. Leo Sayer – As he walked in to the house I thought of cuddly Leo being a possible winner then – wait a minute – this guys a pr*ck with ears. His exit did give me the biggest laugh. The sight of him kicking of with the burly bouncers still tickles me. 13. Jade Goody – What can I state that has not already been stated. I still maintain that one of the reason she treated Shilpa in that fashion was because she had never heard of her. Jade Goody 2007 differs from Jade Goody 2003 in that she now has an ego. The day after the Oxo argument I recall she’s was boasting how she gets invited to parties at Kate Moss’ house and Will Smith once recognised her on a plane. Jade Goody with an ego is a monster that should never have been created. 14. Jo 0’Misery – I cannot work this girl out. I was a bit of closet S Club fan and was looking forward to her stay in the house. Oh, my god I cannot believe what she is like. She is toxic, vindictive, bitchy I could go on. When she was in the house, she was as happy as Larry spouting her bitterness. Now she is out and she witnessed the impact it is had she is going through a breakdown. I cannot work it out. How can she only be happy when she is making others unhappy? I thought I was going to like her, but am shocked and dismayed by her appalling attitude to everything. I see in today’s paper that she does not want Shilpa to visit her. What is that all about? She is almost implying that her plight is Shilpa’s fault. Her attitude stinks to high hell. |

Still, all I/we saw was her launching straight into things. With Spiral, we saw his comments to other hm's over quite some time. We saw him prowling around the garden, in a manner that, given the way things panned out, most women will tell you was really rather scary. His appallingly bad rap verses may have lightened the load for some, but there was that sinister heavy breathing stuff going on, too. And every time he performed his naff rap as he was walking around the garden, he finished with what most women will recognise as his 'sex face'. I'm not going to expand on that any further and get myself into trouble with the Mods. But I think a lot of the female members here will get what I mean. But even that was amusing at first, because it just added to the general patheticness of the whole scenario. But thinking back, after the way he was bordering on physical violence when she rejected him, it took on a whole different light. I certainly wouldn't ever want to be alone anywhere with Spiral. The mere thought of it absolutely terrifies me, in fact. He's clearly obsessive, delusional, and emotionally unstable. I actually quite liked him, up until that point. But he's not the type of person any woman would feel safe around. And I really can't abide Aisleyne. She’s right up there in the top five or ten worst hm's ever, in my book. But she never deserved the treatment she received from Spiral. And although we get it every series now, I think that really was one situation that should've lead to police intervention. I've only ever felt that way over one other BB incident, which was the night sicktor physically assaulted Emma and when Jason was threatening Marco (whether he was intensely irritating or not). So yeah, sorry for the essay. But I don't see how you can compare the two incidents at all. One was clearly a joke, whether it backfired or not. The other was something altogether more sinister. Meh, you'd have been on safer ground if you'd used Michelle & Stu as an example instead! ![]() |

Making allegations of insanity when you feel the need to quote the entire post immediately above your own is frankly rather absurd. Excuse me while I quickly remove any sharp objects from the immediate area. Now, tell me about your mother ...
