Who will replace them? There is no one. If by "won't be long" you mean in historical terms, as in 10-20 years, then sure. Are we just to be the sacrificial lambs for "future generations"? Very Noble but it doesn't help many people right now does it?

Labour will get a good leader in and takeover the reigns from the Tories.

I doubt it, the Labour Party has much bigger problems than just their leader. They are split between what is essentially Tories by any other name, and a more socialist side... And their voters are split down exactly the same lines.

If they edge more towards the socialist they will simply lose more or their right-inclined voters to other parties. If they move back right a-la-new-labour they might entice back some Tories and get back into power but like I said... They will just be Tories. Tories or Tories is the choice, because when it comes right down to it, England is a right-leaning country that is only shifting further in the same direction, and (as we know) the English vote is the only vote that matters.

It's not about what I have or don't have. I won't ever retire no matter how much money I make. I will be a full-time carer, until the day I die. Beyond that I have no idea what it looks like... Hopefully my other daughter will have a family, and they might be able, and willing, to help. Other than that I can't guarantee her life, health or happiness beyond the scope of my own life and the longer we go with uncaring, and now unbridled, governments like we have now the worse her future looks.

I'm going to be blunt and just say that no... No one who does not have disabled offspring can really understand that sort of fear.

I try not to dwell on it but it is always there.

I hear what you're saying TS, I have a similar fear for the NHS as my son has a heart condition there's no way I could afford the kind of insurance he would need,so the thought of there not being an NHS is one I can't dwell on.
Houses and businesses are nothing, they mean nothing.
