It's called low cunning. Predators like jackals and hyenas have it. They are usually not smart or strong enough to bring down a beast, but have enough cunning to get in there for a share of the kill.

Oh no, please keep her. Don't get me wrong, my son in law is Welsh and i love him dearly, but I've just watched a clip of The Valleys on Youtube because I'd never seen it and now I feel like taking a bath in Dettol.
