I think you are very rude. A decent person would ask to use someones gif, no matter who it was. If I put a bit of effort into something it would be nice for someone to say "Hey, I'm gonna use that." or whatever, common decency. Its not his GIF, does he own the show? Does he own all rights?? Nah didn't think so. I think you need a understanding of what is actually yours and what is not. Its actually against the law to record TV & post it on the Internet without permission (even if its a 5 second clip)
