Mine grows as soon as it cut it...it's annoying. I end up cutting my hair every 2-3 weeks

OMG if this is true. I suppose she could wear a wig until it grows out, but why do it in the first place? I feel sorry for her, she's going through such a tough time - I remember the days when she was the teen icon, was so popular, successful... I hope things get sorted and she gets her life back on track soon! This shaving head thing is just another thing to add to the list of bad happenings that have gone on in her life recently.

Yeah I read somewhere something about she did it because she was "sick of everyone touching her" but I took that as sick of people fussing over her image and constantly doing her hair etc. I really feel for her because once she had everything...now it seems she will end up with nothing.

It's been reported that she was raped, but from what I can tell, there is a lot of suggestion that it is not true.

Whatever the reason, I feel sorry for her. It's not a fashion statement, that much is obvious. I think she must be in all kinds of turmoil, and could really do with some proper help from people who care, rather than people who just care about lining their pockets. I agree with Kiz as well - this will not help in the current custody battle.

I thought cancer/chemo when I first saw her pic on the front of the paper as that would be a logical reason but I think she is just sick of being poked and prodded by everyone. That and the need for attention...its a cry for help..I just hope that those close to her give her the help she needs before she goes to far and cannot come back.

I'd need to read, or hear about Britney saying this herself, and not by word of mouth. I don't know what gave her the idea to shave her head, but I think she needs some help in her life right now because she seems lost. I hope Britney can recover, because as much as I love to hate her music, I think she's a genuinely nice person who has far too much to deal with in her life.
