Wait, how did they do Tom's eviction on the day before the final in 2011? Was it live or backdoor?

It was live I think. Backdoors were only a thing last year.

The whole idea of them goes against the original format that we should always know what's going on and Big Brother is 'always watching' when they're editing people out of updates etc.
