There are ways to deal with insults and repeatedly thumping a guy in the head isn't one of them. Robinson is known for liking a good scrap. He's known for intimidating people.

Just watched it again and

A number of things struck me. TR gets alot of momentum coming out of the door yet still misses the first two guys, they then get him on the floor twice - camera conveniently pans away twice - yet allow him to get up twice, and the guy who was trying to get the camera off the girl does what I can only describe as tae kwon do style roundhouse kick presumably to TR who is off camera. Roundhouse kick to the head is not the highest percentage move in that situation. If this isnt staged then these are the worse thugs ever. If this is the best the far left can offer then I think the far right will win the physical battle.

He's made a huge career out of it that he never would have had otherwise, though, and frankly I highly doubt he'd still be doing it if it wasn't his main source of (very decent) income. Is it really still "guts" or "conviction" if it comes with a tonne of £££ signs attached?

Take Katie Hopkins for example. I guarantee that even SHE doesn't believe half of the worst things she comes out with / that generate hatred and threats towards her... But she's built her entire career around it so she carries on. Robinson isn't much different really, just the working class underbelly of "journalists" like Hopkins.

I agree, its less to do with politics, and more to do with him trying to work out ways to get money and a publicity boost.

He had no message here, this was just about YouTube views. I would bet my money on there being a link to ways you can financially support Robinson on that YouTube video.

But as long as he has a devoted fanbase, the work he does, or doesnt do, is irrelevant. He will carry on being the exact same irritant, because his fanbase are still daft enough to buy in to his every word/the authenticity of his YouTube vids.
