The charts used to accurately reflect what people were buying, now they reflect which of three sponsored playlists people choose to have on in the background, yes You don't have to dislike this song to recognise that

Yeah Streaming has destroyed the charts. It is not an accurate representation at all considering spotify playlists largely control how many listens songs get and how these songs thent chart. People putting on the main spotify playlists at parties, at work, for gatherings, at shops is hardly an accurate representation of what people are wanting to listen to...
