Well, you can only vote every three hours if you choose to. And I think the admin has a log of who has given who karma and taken it off, so that shouldn't be a problem I don't think.

Its if you agree with the posts or not emilie if you agree or if you think its a goo dpost you give + karma if you dont agree or you dont like what theya re saying you give - karma. or if its like exams or a birthday you can also give +karma as i just gave ash +1 for her exams

The thing who scares me is now it could be sometimes the war and some jealousy between the membesr because "hey mate you have more karma points than me, that's unfair blablabla..."
I hope it will be right and something constructive.

Yeah it doesn't really highlight much for me, I think its more about who has the most friends than what people actually say or debate about. I think if it is to work it needs to be more clear.

I have to agree with you there Remy, it like some people consider post count to do this too or how long a member has been on the site.

For me none of this matters. Its the posts that people make that does.

I really hope it doesnt end up like a popularity contest.

Everyone is going to be voting for their frends and each other and it wont end up how people like reading each others posts. But i do think this is a great idea. It should be kept.
