Quand il pleut, il pleut

...obviously obstructing and damaging an emergency services vehicle is not cool at all and really thoughtless...but with over excitement and over enthusiasm...(..and yes alcohol fuelled also a great possibility..)...sadly, thoughtless acts will happen...
...for me though it’s a little bit like...media portrayal of someone on benefits for instance in how they say...oooo look at their big house and their huge TV etc...look how they’re frauding the system, look what awful people they are...or a media portrayal of an immigrant, someone who has a full ass beard or something but who is meant to be a child..how the media say ‘this is a typical immigrant’, be careful, don’t let them in because they’re out to get you, they threaten your safety...when I don’t believe those ‘typical immigrants’ at all...in the same way I don’t think this sort of thing is typical football fan behaviour...’hooligans’ I think are very few and far between, just a little minority...but sadly the ones that are often portrayed..and the news media doesn’t even have to do it anymore, social media does a very good job as well in carrying their mantle ...I’m not sure these would even be termed as ‘hooligans’ as such...but just more, thoughtless behaviour ...taking it all a little too far...I’m guessing also that the emergency vehicles were there in case any in the crowd would need them ..as a standby..as police would be there for crowd control...rather than be there to answer an emergency call...but that’s just a guess though....maybe something that would help give them more thought for the future would be if they had to contribute toward the cost for the repairs....

OR, you can stop trying to minimise the actions of these idiots, you can stop trying to justify them by using the resullts of the game and you can stop arguing that they shouldn't face consequences for their actions.
This is not anyone else's fault aside from the idiots that vandalised an ambulance. People are responsible for their own actions, shockingly enough. |

The police aren't nannies, they can't be everywhere at once. I doubt you will see a police officer on every street of London. They are not glorified nannies. |

If you want to blame anyone for a lack of police on the streets than look no further than May's government. The police have been loud in voicing that they are severely underfunded.
