Idk what happens in it and I don't really care but I have a sneaky feeling that Debby Ryan wouldn't do another series just because of the hate/death threats she, her family, her boyfriend, and boyfriends family have all received.

The people that made the threats clearly hadn't watched the show, I imagine a lot of it will die down and they'll do a S2, I can't imagine many actors turning down their own Netflix series, it's not like she's been anywhere since that boat with those twins

I've watches a few eps and its cute and enjoyable it just needs some polishing up but the humour is there and i can see it doing well if it was given another season

Watched it bc bored, it’s pretty bad, but not for the reasons listed lol
The whole fat shaming thing is stupid. The show portrays the fact that she was fat shamed a bad thing because it makes Debbie Ryan vindictive and sour and just ends up hurting more people in the future. It’s against bullying and fat shaming. Just because a theme is in ur media doesn’t mean you endorse it, why are people so thick?
But yeah it’s pretty unfunny and **** lol

I watched the first episode and thought it was pretty funny.

I think a lot of reviews got a bit too political and bandwagon-y with it tbh, kinda like how every MCU film will always get a decent review even if it's bad. If it carries on with the same quality that the first episode had, it's a solid series.

I wonder if most people who enjoy this harsh **** are like Trump voters?

It's definitely a bad taste thing, and Netflix is just rammed full of bad taste stuff that the Executives that work there find rewarding and relaxing. I wonder why they like to make this garbage so much? Are they Russian?
